Fishing Service

MaruMatsu Nori Factory is producing Nori seaweed for more than 60 years in Otsu Yokosuka area. Around 1994, we started boat fishing service targeting mainly Aji fish, which is famous for its size and rich taste in the area. Since then we keep providing safe boat fishing service. We are pleased to be your local guide in Tokyo bay in Yokosuka.

In 2021, the old captain Masayuki passed away at 66 years old and now his son captain Yuta is driving the 11th MaruMatsuMaru, providing Aji fishing services. Led by him MaruMatsu Fishing Service is introducing Japanese traditional Tsuribune to new generation and foreign people visiting Yokosuka.

Every year, in the end of November, we begin to harvest the 1st Nori from the net. Nori from this Otsu Yokosuka area is known for its rich taste and selected as one of hundred good products of Kanagawa.

MaruMatsu Nori Factory sells Nori products via fisherman's union mainly however, we prepare for our own Nori products for private use and gift etc..
